Steve's Flower Market

Brand Identity, Creative Direction, Responsive Website

Steve's Flower Market is a small flower shop with hefty ambitions in the River West neighborhood. For almost a decade, Steve's has been a word-of-mouth kind of place that served customers from River North to the wider Chicagoland. Steve Ziemba, the owner, desired a new brand identity. The rebranding needed to be unfussy and direct like Steve but also fresh like his flowers. The new brand identity included a new logo, business collateral, packaging, signage, and most importantly, a responsive website.

Steve's on SquareSpace

We explored different web platforms until we settled on SquareSpace for its easy-to-use interface, pleasing aesthetics, and security. The website needed to reflect Steve's wedding and event design and bulk flowers services. It also needed to direct customers to Steve's online storefront.

Since it's 2015 launch, the new website has strongly impacted the shop's operations and driven both web and foot traffic to this small flower shop. Customers seeking consultations for events and weddings has more than tripled and the budgets for such events have climbed. Steve's has since expanded into the space next door. Now, customers can walk-in for a fresh arrangement or cross-over to the next room for a private consultation.
