Studio Akemi designed the poster for Pentimenti Productions' documentary feature, "Hairy Who and The Chicago Imagists". The film is a sprawling and joyful portrait of a group of Chicago painters that challenged the Pop Art status quo of the 1960's. Their work was fiery, exuberant, and idiosyncratic. The poster borrows a hand-drawn flame pattern from a Jim Nutt painting.
