To promote Mohawk's Everyday Digital paper line, Lewis Paper (a paper distributor serving the Chicago market) requested an original email design. The client's rough idea was to get the printers to conduct a comparison test between Mohawk and Finch paper. In this contest, the loser was obvious. In the trees and in the air, finches always lose to hawks due to their lack of speed, majesty, and strength. They also lose in digital presses, too. Akemi also embraced Mohawk's strong branding with the "M" pattern and vibrant color palette.
